Know this feeling?
Performance anxiety
You walk into the exam room and go blank. Your heart races. Even if you studied, anxiety blocks you.
No one to practice with
Your friends are as unprepared as you, or don''t have time. Repeating alone isn''t like a real oral exam.
Don''t know if you''re ready
You''ve been reviewing for days, but have no feedback. You don''t know what''s really missing. And the big day is approaching.
How it works
In 3 steps you''re facing the (virtual) examiner
Upload your notes
PDFs, photos, handwritten notes, recordings. All YOUR material becomes the exam''s foundation.
Take the oral exam

Don't memorize: reason

Speak like in a real exam
It's not a chatbot that types. It's a fluid voice conversation, with interruptions, follow-up questions. Just like when the professor stops you and asks "Are you sure? Explain better."
A natural conversation
Speak like in a real exam. The professor listens and responds.
How memory really works
Professor Socratico is not a chatbot. It''s trained on evidence-based pedagogy principles that research has proven to work.
Testing Effect
Testing your own knowledge is more effective than re-reading. Every exam is an opportunity to consolidate what you studied.
Desirable Difficulties
Difficulty helps memory. The professor doesn''t give you the correct answer right away, but guides you to reason through it.
Spaced Practice
Repeating at increasing intervals fixes concepts. Your history shows when to review each topic.
Elaborative Interrogation
Asking "why?" creates stronger neural connections. The professor pushes you to explain your reasoning.
These principles are documented in decades of academic research.

Have doubts?
Here are the answers to our most frequently asked questions
Absolutely. Socratico is calibrated to the same standards as university committees and certification bodies. It doesn''t give you answers, it questions you like a real professor would: open-ended questions, requests for elaboration, awkward silences when you make mistakes. Many students tell us the real exam went better precisely because they had already ''burned off'' the anxiety with us.
Socratico is strict but fair. If you can''t answer, it guides you with simpler questions to understand where the problem lies - exactly like a compassionate professor would. The grade reflects your real level, and the feedback tells you exactly which topics to focus on.
Yes! Upload PDFs of your notes, photos of handwritten notebooks, lecture recordings, the professor''s slides. Socratico studies YOUR material and questions you on that. These aren''t generic textbook questions, they''re specific to what you studied.
Ideal: 1-2 weeks to take multiple simulated exams and work on weak points. But even if your exam is in 2 days, taking a simulated exam is better than repeating alone. The important thing is not to arrive at the committee ''cold''.
Zero catches. 2 oral exams per month free, real feedback, real grade. We don''t ask for your credit card. We do this because we''re confident that once you try it, you''ll want to use it for all your exams.
Yes! Socratico works for any oral exam: university exams, public sector exams, bar exams, language certifications like IELTS Speaking. Upload your specific program material and the AI examiner adapts.
